Campus Climate Solutions Honored at International Greening the Ivory Tower Symposium
The Cookbook for the (sustainable) university is a booklet providing 14 cutting-edge examples of campus sustainability initiatives around the globe. The booklet was recently published by Morgen, the Dutch student network for a sustainable future, in order to inspire students, facility staff and teachers to look at the opportunities of a greener campus, and the social responsibility of a university as a key issue.
We were honored when Morgen organizers chose Campus Climate Solutions as one of the 14 “innovations in practice” to be featured in the publication and presented to attendees at the Greening the Ivory Tower symposium in the Netherlands on March 19.
127 participants and volunteers from 9 different universities and colleges attended Greening the Ivory Tower, providing a unique opportunity for university staff, facilities management and students to collaborate and engage eachother for the purpose of providing inspiration and ideas for Dutch campus sustainability initiatives.
