The University of Florida’s Office of Sustainability announced the winners of the first annual Sustainable Solutions Awards at the university’s Earth Day 2009 Program. The Sustainable Solutions Awards recognize individuals, departments and organizations on campus that made significant contributions toward advancing sustainability at the University of Florida. Alison Erlenbach and Campus Climate Solutions received the “Bright Idea” Award, given for the best new idea for advancing sustainability on the University of Florida’s campus.

Congratulations to all of the other award winners, and thanks to the UF Office of Sustainability for the award, and for their continued support for Campus Climate Solutions– without which this idea would not have been possible. Go Gators!
